John P. Newton has a long history of fighting for your constitutional rights. As a Marine Corps veteran Mr. Newton has completed two overseas deployments to the Persian Gulf and Japan in defense of our freedoms. To this day Mr. Newton retains deep connections to our service men and women and dedicates a significant portion of time to making sure they have access to affordable, highly skilled representation.

Upon his honorable discharge from the service Mr. Newton obtained a bachelor's degree in Political Science from the University of California, Irvine with Summa Cum Laude honors. Mr. Newton then earned a law degree from the prestigious Pepperdine University School of Law in Malibu, CA.

At Pepperdine, Mr. Newton was trained in the art of litigation by the nation's elite masters in trial tactics. Mr. Newton has worked inside the District Attorney's Office and is skilled in prosecutorial strategies. Mr. Newton practices all areas of criminal defense including DUI's, misdemeanors, violent crimes, financial crimes, and other felonies. He routinely hones his skills and is constantly seeking new and imaginative ways to protect his clients.
